Double-bin Tube Mill Machine

Double-bin Tube Mills are space-saving, compact, high on performance and low on maintenance. This is primarily due to the support bearing design and the mill drive used. The mill is shell-supported, mounted on slide shoe bearings at both ends and made completely as a welded design. The mill with the compact drive version features an INTEGRAL DRIVE, whose planetary gear is mounted to the mill flange. Structural Features of Double-bin Tube Mill :

It consists of feeding mouth, material discharging mouth, rotary part, transmission part (reducer, small transmission gears, engine, and electric control) and other major parts. The hollow shaft is made of cast steels, with changeable internal lining board.The big rotary gear is fabricated with the casting gear hobbing, with the resisting lining board in the cylinder, which is highly abrasion-resistant. This machine operates smoothly and reliably.

Working Principle of Double-bin Tube Mill:

Take the cement mill for example. Material is fed to the rough grinding chamber in the mill through the chute of feeding device. Grinding medium of large size impacts on the material and then material is crushed. Fines go into the fine grinding chamber through double partition. It is further impact and ground by the grinding medium of small size. Production of required fineness flows through the discharging pipe and is discharged from the discharging device. It is separated in the separator. Cold air flows in the mill to reduce the temperature inside. Fine powder is conveyed out of the mill to guarantee the product quality and improve the grinding efficiency.

Features Of Double-bin Tube Mill

a. Common Cement Mill
It is mainly used in cycle grinding system, with features of high grinding efficiency, high production, low power consumption. Especially, when grinding slag cement, its performance is more outstanding. Generally speaking. Production could be 10-20% higher, and power consumption 10% lower. Besides, product temperature could reduce 20-40℃ and product fineness is easy to adjust.
b. High fineness & production cement mill
It is mainly used in open flow grinding system. with features of simple equipment system & process flow, saving investment, less building area. Regarding structure, it has advanced & special material separating diaphram device inside, adds activation device to fine grinding chamber, and has discharging grate plate at mill outlet, thus to reduce the size of grinding media at the most and promote the grinding efficiency highly, realise the purpose of high production & low power consumption.

The tube mill is widely used in building material industry for grinding various grades of clinker and raw materials calcined for cement. The tube mill has the advantages of high productivity, high adaptability to materials, high reduction ratio, etc.

According to different structures, the tube mills can be divided into double-bin type and triple-bin type. According to discharge mode the tube mills can be divided into tail discharge type and center discharge type. According to drive mode, the tube mills can be divided into end drive and center drive. According to grinding technology, the tube mills can be divided into dry grinding and wet grinding.

According to different types of structures, discharges, drives and grinding technologies, the tube mills can be divided into types of double-bin type and triple-bin, or tail discharge and center discharge, or end drive and center drive, or dry grinding and wet grinding.

The tube mill is one of the conventional equipment manufactured by EO with history close to 50 years since 1970s. Over hundred sets of tube mills had been manufactured by EO, which had accumulated plenty of precious experiences in design and production for EO.
